The Settings page houses all the tools needed to tailor your Radio Thmanyah experience, including preferences for audio, notifications, language, and downloads.
Types of settings
1. Notifications settings
Control which notifications you receive, such as new episode releases, when someone follows you, mentions you in a comment, or likes your comment. You can also choose to receive recommendation emails, offers, and announcements.
To enable system notifications, make sure they are also turned on from your device settings.
2. Language settings
When you tap Language, you will be taken directly to your device settings, where you can choose the app language: Arabic or your preferred language.
3. Audio settings
- Playback speed: Choose between 0.5x, 1x, 1.2x, 1.5x, and 2x.
- Remove silences: Removes silent pauses between speech segments. Available for subscribers.
- Remove music: Removes music segments from any podcast episode in the world. Available for subscribers.
4. Download settings
- Wi-Fi only: Saves your mobile data by automatically downloading episodes only when connected to Wi-Fi.
- Queue episodes: Automatically downloads any episode you add to your queue.

Library episodes: Downloads episodes from your lists and the latest three episodes from the shows you follow.
FAQ
1. How do I enable Radio Thmanyah notifications on my device?
Go to your device settings, search for Radio Thmanyah, enable Notifications, then return to the app and turn on the notifications you want.
2. Why is the Remove Music feature not working for me?
The Remove Silences and Remove Music features are available to subscribers only. Learn more about subscription benefits.
3. Does automatic downloading use my mobile data?
Downloads will not use your mobile data if you enable Wi-Fi only. In that case, content will only be downloaded over Wi-Fi.
4. Radio Thmanyah is using too much of my mobile data. What can I do?
Turn off Library episodes and Queue episodes from Download Settings, or enable Wi-Fi only so episodes are downloaded only over Wi-Fi without using your mobile data.
5. Does playback speed change for all episodes?
Yes. The playback speed you choose in Settings applies to all episodes until you change it.
6. Why can’t I download episodes using mobile data?
To download episodes using mobile data, go to Download Settings and turn off Wi-Fi only.
