FAQ
1. How many channels are there? Is there any difference between them?
thmanyah currently broadcasts through 3 channels: thmanyah 1, thmanyah 2, and thmanyah 3. This allows multiple matches to be broadcast if they occur at the same time. All channels work at the same quality level, and there is no technical difference between them, even if the HD label appears on some of them in the channel list on certain receivers.
2. Do I need a special receiver to watch thmanyah satellite channels?
No. You can add the channel frequencies to any receiver that is not linked to a specific service provider or TV package. If you add the channels and later find that they have stopped working, delete the channel and add it again using the same frequencies.
3. Do thmanyah satellite channels broadcast 24 hours a day?
thmanyah 1 and thmanyah 2 broadcast matches and sports content around the clock. Some other thmanyah productions may also appear on the two channels, but non-sports content is mainly available through «thmanyah App» and «Radio thmanyah app».
4. What content is available on the satellite channels?
thmanyah satellite channels are dedicated to sports content. Non-sports content from thmanyah Productions may be shown outside match broadcast times, but these channels are not dedicated to thmanyah’s non-sports productions.
5. I added the frequency, but the channels did not appear. What should I do?
Make sure you select the correct satellite, either Nilesat or Arabsat. Then enter the frequencies using manual search. If your receiver supports Network Search, enable it. You can also try a full scan.
6. Why does one channel appear with HD in its name and another without it?
We broadcast thmanyah channels in high quality «HD». However, whether «HD» or «SD» appears next to the channel name depends on the receiver. This label is not part of the graphics we provided.
For this reason, if a thmanyah channel appears with a different name or without the word HD, this does not necessarily mean its broadcast quality is lower than that of other channels.
7. Is the streaming quality in «thmanyah App» better than the satellite channel quality?
Yes. «thmanyah App» gives subscribers a better viewing experience with higher streaming quality and advanced control features, compared to satellite broadcasting, which is closer to the experience of a non-subscribed user in the app.
