Every podcast episode includes short moments of silence between sentences, between speakers, or during pauses for thought. These silences are natural in conversations, but they make the episode longer without adding meaning.
The Silence Removal feature automatically shortens these moments, so you can listen to the same content in less time and with a faster pace.
ℹ️ This feature is exclusive to «Radio thmanyah app» or thmanyah subscribers, and it applies to podcast episodes only.
How do I enable Silence Removal?
1. Silence Removal from Settings
Go to Settings, then go to «Sound Settings», and turn on «Remove Silence».
When this option is enabled, the app will automatically remove silences from all podcast episodes you play, as long as they are downloaded to your device.
2. Silence Removal from the player
You can remove silences by tapping the controls icon at the bottom of the audio player.
If you enable it, the app will automatically remove silences in all podcast episodes once you play them, as long as they are downloaded to your device. In the same way, you can turn off Silence Removal at any time by tapping the same icon again.
ℹ️ Important note: On iOS devices, you must download the episode first; the feature only works on downloaded content. Tap the download icon «» in the player to do so.
Using Music Removal and Silence Removal together
You can use both features at the same time in «Radio thmanyah app» on devices running «Android».
On devices running «iOS», you can use only one of the two features at the same time. We are working on making both features available together on «iOS» devices in future releases.

No. It works on podcast episodes only.
3. Does Silence Removal affect audio quality?
The AI only isolates silent parts. The app keeps the natural human tone and accompanying sound effects in high quality without distortion.
4. Do I need to download the episode to enable Silence Removal?
Yes. On devices running «iOS», you need to download the episode before you can enable the feature. On devices running «Android», using the feature does not require downloading the episode.
5. Can I enable Silence Removal and Music Removal at the same time?
Yes, on devices running «Android».
For devices running «iOS», simultaneous use of both features is still under development. If Music Removal is enabled, Silence Removal will stop working automatically, and vice versa. You need to turn off one feature to use the other on «iOS» devices.
6. Why is Silence Removal not working for me?
This feature will not work if you are not subscribed, if the episode is not downloaded to your device, or if you are trying to use it with unsupported content, such as audiobooks or audio articles.
7. How do I turn off Silence Removal for all episodes after enabling it from Settings?
Go to your profile, then open Settings, then Audio Settings. Turn off «Remove Silence».
