We selected «Arabsat Badr 8» as the primary satellite for thmanyah channels going forward, as part of our plan to consolidate satellite broadcasting on a single satellite.

3. Are all thmanyah channels free-to-air?
Yes. All channels are free-to-air and do not require a subscription or decryption card.

5. I’m within the satellite coverage area, but the channels aren’t showing. What should I do?

1. Make sure you have selected the correct satellite, «Arabsat», and that your dish is pointed at 26° East.
2. Make sure the frequency, polarization, and symbol rate are entered correctly, then run a new manual channel scan.
3. If your receiver supports «Network Search», enable it, or try a «Blind Scan».
4. If the issue continues, contact a satellite receiver technician.

5. Does satellite coverage mean sports streaming is available on the app in the same countries?
No. Satellite coverage differs from the app's geographic viewing rights. Sports streaming on the «thmanyah app» is subject to the supported countries mentioned at the beginning of this article.

6. Does streaming on the app work when using a VPN?
No. Streaming is disabled when a VPN is active. If detected, playback stops automatically. The app uses your device’s IP address to verify your location and comply with geographic broadcasting restrictions.

7. I’m in a supported country, but streaming is not working on the app. What should I do?
Turn off any VPN service, check your internet connection, then try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If the issue continues, contact «Ask thmanyah».

8. What is the primary way to watch matches currently?
«thmanyah app» is the primary platform for all matches, competitions, replays, and highlights. The top 3 matches are also broadcast concurrently on thmanyah satellite channels.

9. What happens if more than three matches are played at the same time?
If more than three matches occur simultaneously, three are broadcast on thmanyah satellite channels and the rest on the «thmanyah app». Allocation follows the round's schedule, showing no club preference. All matches get equal attention.
